BLAIR J. BENNETT

Biography

Born and raised right here in Edmonds, Washington, I am proud to be part of a third generation to practice law here in Edmonds. Prior to joining Bennett & Bennett and shortly after law school and subsequently passing the Washington State Bar Exam, I began a judicial clerkship as a law clerk for Judge Marybeth Dingledy at Snohomish County Superior Court where I learned the ins and outs of our local judicial system and was able to work on a wide variety of different matters.

Now at Bennett & Bennett, my primary goal is to educate my clients and ensure they are at ease and truly understand their estate plan, regardless of what they elect to create. I enjoy trying to make estate planning as seamless and straightforward as possible while always attaining the highest degree of quality.

While Edmonds and the surrounding areas have grown, I enjoy the idea that I can still bring the small town lawyer feeling to my work with personalized, thoughtful, and practical approaches to each case. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my wife Caroline, our families, and of course our dogs, Moose and Chewy. You can find me walking the pups around town nearly every day. I love to explore the mountains whether it be by hiking in warmer weather or skiing in the winter. I also enjoy exercising, traveling, golf, and of course, college football.

I primarily practice in the areas of:

  • Estate Planning – Simple & Complex (Wills, Trusts (Revocable Living Trusts & Testamentary Trusts), Non-Probate Transfers)
